Avra Corner

Misleading arrival details, poor sound insulation and amenities, and an unreliable check-in and check-out process. Positive: The interior space was decent once we finally managed to gain access to the property. Negative: The arrival experience was completely unacceptable: the host's portal provided incorrect GPS coordinates and the building had zero exterior signage, leaving us wandering the streets with an infant in the midday heat until we had to navigate via live video call with the host. Inside the apartment, comfort was lacking: one of the bedrooms has no air conditioning, the TV is very basic and not a smart TV, and sound insulation is poor, meaning you can hear almost everything from the apartment above. Fresh towels during a 5-night stay were treated as an exceptional favor rather than basic hospitality. Check-out was equally disorganized: the host scheduled an in-person appointment for 11:00 AM, failed to show up without prior notice, and only provided a lockbox code after 11:10 AM once we initiated contact. Overall, poor management, inaccurate arrival guidance, and disregard for guests' comfort and time. Not recommended for families.

👍 Positive: We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this apartment. It was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our family. The location was excellent—close to the beach, supermarkets, and restaurants, yet quiet enough to relax. The host was very kind, responsive, and made the check-in and check-out process simple and convenient. We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment and the cozy atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely stay! We would be happy to come back on our next visit to Hanioti.
